Our inspiration and unique approach

Sonic Force Studio was born from a deep desire to create quality music, soundtracks, and soundscapes for theatre shows, TV, and film. We also serve as a vital platform to share both our own music and the compelling work of artists associated with SFS. Our approach is rooted in fostering genuine artistic expression and delivering exceptional audio experiences.

When you visit Sonic Force Studio, we want you to understand that this is a dynamic space to hear compelling music, soundtracks, and soundscapes. Beyond our artistic output, you can also book theatre tech services, including professional lighting and sound, and commission original music tailored specifically for your production. We are based in Chester, United Kingdom, and are dedicated to supporting your creative needs.

Steve Lincoln

Musician, Sound Engineer, Theatre Technician, Actor, Speaker and Author

 

Having spent 20 years touring internationally as a drummer, singer and teacher, Steve returned to his hometown of Chester where he now runs lighting and sound for various theatre groups and is the Technical Manager at Chester Little Theatre. Steve recently worked on shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. Steve has worked as Technical Manager on New Dawn Fades, the highly successful touring show based on the story and music of Joy Division and the life of their singer Ian Curtis. Steve also composes music for soundtracks and shows, and is kept busy with mixing albums for various groups and as a session drummer. Steve also enjoys acting and tries to do at least 3 acting roles a year to feed his inner thespian. On top of all that he also teaches university students about sound, music and theatre tech.
